I will be traveling to the East Coast shortly after labor day and would like to spend a few days in Toronto or Montreal on the way back.

I was in Montreal about a year ago and am wondering whether things have "heated up" since the recent ruling by Canadian courts that strip club sex behind closed doors is not illegal.

The Toronto scene seems very hot -- at least at Remington's. Are there any other clubs in the city?

Sorry to start another thread about this subject, but I really would appreciate your recommendations.

Tough call. I have been to Montreal twice since May and I like it very much. There are 5 clubs with strippers, Campus and Stock being the most well known. They are somewhat restrictive with what goes on during a lap dance. The advantage is there are so many choices.

Toronto has only Remingtons as far as strip bars (as far as I know). I think they are much more permissive there, but it's also more expensive.

Let us know where you end up going and any fond memories.

Have fun,

NYO

NYO is right on about montreal and toronto, from

what i have heard. i say that because i'm the

opposite of nyo, go to toronto many times during

the year, but havn't been to montreal (except 30

yrs ago with my then lover and not to the strip

clubs). the advantage i see in one good club

vs 5 is that you don't have to keep making those

decisions where should i go first, or when to

leave and try somewhere else. on any given night

remingtons has plenty of dancers and a nice variety. and the private rooms for lap dances

can make for a very enjoyable time. to emphasize

how much i like toronto, i am buying a small condo to make visiting more convenient.

remingtons is open every day of the year. don't

personally know what the best day is. the dancers

vary because they come in as they want to, not

on any particular schedule. i was there on a

sunday for the first time in june and even though

it was slow, there were several interesting

dancers, 2 of which i hadn't seen before, one whom

i've become very fond of. on fri and sat nites

and some weekdays they open the 2nd floor at 9 p.m. and have a dancer on the 1st and 2nd floor

stage at the same time. btw, i fogot to mention

in my last note...a lot of dancers from montreal

and some from quebec city come to remingtons to

dance.

It *is* a tough call - I like both Montreal and Toronto very much, but if I had to choose it would probably be Toronto.

Remingtons is open every day (from about 4pm, I think) - I think that the first shift of dancers usually shows up around 6pm, and works until 10pm, and the second shift works from 10pm until closing time (2am). The guys working the early shift tend to be a little more the "young, slim, boy next door" type, while the ones working the late shift tend to be bigger and more muscular (but, of course, on any given occasion your mileage may vary ...)

Sorry to complicate your decision but I think Montreal is superior with Campus being the gold standard of clubs in Canada. I have been to both Toronto and Montreal many times and I get more bang for my buck at Campus or Stock in Montreal. I have participated in some intimate encounters at both Remingtons and Campus with many dancers available for private shows afterward. Stock has some very private spaces now and with the right dancer a lot can happen in and out of the club. The difference in Montreal is that the dancers are more reasonable and the selection is clearly more spectacular than at Remingtons. Read the NY Observers reviews of Gaiety dancers and Campus hunks are generally superior to Torontos.

Contact Information?

I too have to make a choice between Toronto and Montreal...I'm leaning towards Montreal. Though Remington's sounds hot, the re-emergence of The Stock Bar together with the Campus is drawing me back to Montreal. Does anyone have contact information about their favorite performers in either city that they'd like to share with us or me personally at jacksfo2000@yahoo.com? Thanks.

Well, everyone is different, so I can certainly see why some people would prefer Montreal - I have had some great times there myself.

One interesting observation is that there are quite a lot of guys from Montreal who come down to Toronto to work at Remingtons (including some of the ones that NYO has seen at the Gaiety), but virtually none who go in the opposite direction.

This means that you actually *do* get to see some of the Montreal guys in Toronto - the downside to this is that when they are in either Toronto or NY they are really just there to work and make as much money as possible - they tend to be much more relaxed when they are at home on their own turf.

Anyway, Losgatan, if you do end up going to Montreal I can highly recommend Charles who works at Stock (although I believe he was considering moving to Campus).

I'll second that Quinte.

But if you're in Toronto, you can't go wrong with Aarron.

As far as Montreal performers going to Toronto, maybe that's the reason as clients we should be going to Montreal? They come to NYC for the money, maybe Toronto is the same deal. I like being able to move from bar to bar if I don't like who happens to be working that night.

Montreal, final answer :)

That's not to say I don't want to go to Toronto. Between a good friend, Aarronn and Remington's, I'm positive I'd have a great time.

I just got back from both toronto and Montreal. While in Toronto I spent time with the most wonderful escort in the world (Even if he does has a strange way of spelling his name.) So I really had little time in Toronto to sample Remingtons and in Montreal had time to hit all the bars except West Side. I spent time in Remingtons with 2 dancers and despite the doors on the booths, they were very restrictive as to what they would do. No touching. Of course that may have been the dancers own self imposed limitations. In Montreal I did run into some of the same limitations from some dancers, but found many to be alot more open about touching and even had some who allowed sucking and kissing. There was no problem gettng quys to come back to you room. At Taboo I had one who actually left during his shift. At Campus and Stock I had to wait till they finished their shift. I like Montreal better bacause after one dance you know if you want to continue or go looking for another dancer.Iin Montreal that only cost $10 cd instead of $20 ca in Toronto.

I was also in Quebec City for a convention and the hotel was a block away from the strip club there in rue de la Courrone. Christopher who told me that he dances at the Gaiety was there. Same seemed to apply here as to what each dancer would and would not do and I also had no trouble taking escort back to the hotel.

Hope that helps. If you have more question email me-jeejer@club2001.com

Thanks, jeejar:

It's amazing how experiences at Remington's seem to differ from person to person and/or dancer to dancer. Some describe it as an incredibly hot place -- yet you found it more restrictive than the clubs in Montreal.

I'm not quite sure what this means. Perhaps the answer is to keep trying different dancers until something clicks.

jeejar said he only experienced 2 dancers in the

back rooms at remingtons. he unfortunately chose

the wrong 2 out of many dancers available. i have

done a lot with dancers when i was in the back,

but i highly suggest you sound them out before you

take them back to have a good idea what they will

allow. though i want to go to montreal (and have

several phone nbrs of dancers from montreal who

i know from remingtons) i continue to return to

remingtons because it is a couple hrs drive closer

to where i live, and i always have a good time

there, and continually fall in love with some

newer dancer every time i go there, to supplement

all my old favorites.

Well boys.....I was at Remington's last night and I can tell you that LOTS goes on in the back room. Two hand jobs to RELEASE within two hours. It all depends on the boy and you yourself I guess. One of them insisted on reaching into my pants and pulling out my ever so anxious and angry dick.....I said "Oh all right ....if you insist." Don't ask me his name....I forget....I do remember that he was Afro-Canadian.I also remember the size of his even more anxious member....He wasn't into my Specialty though.

So much went on that it seemed redundant to bother with a PRIVATE. Although I did manage to muster up enough you-know-what for another "Splash Party" at my Hotel. It was this one's first private. Really it was! It's not hard to tell.....but was otherwise very HARD and very Juicy. Cute little number named Gianni....he is going to be a very bad boy and very soon......I should charge these boys for all I teach them. He is definitely a quick study.

I haven't been to Mtl. for years butt I always enjoy the "little frogs" who escape from their pond and hop to NYC and T.O. I have always enjoyed FROGS LEGS and other edible parts.lol.

Actually it's not fair to categorize but I do agree that it's better on their home ground....when they are in NYC they are certainly "On A Mission".

are great there (Campus, Stock) The Stock has

inproved over the past 2 years. The club always

maintain that all of their dancers are gay,un

like some of the other clubs .Not that its inportant to everyone. And besides the strip

clubs , the city has some outstanding bars and

cafes. It one of my favorite cities. So head there

and enjoy....

I think that all it really means is that different people have different tastes - some will like Remingtons in Toronto - some will like Campus, or Stock in Montreal - and some (myself included) like all of them ;-)

At the end of the day, though, a lot comes down to just how well you and a particular dancer hit it off. From that perspective people who visit the clubs regularly and get to know the dancers have a definite advantage - your first time visiting one of these places can be rather hit-or-miss.

I think that is right on. could not have said it better, except maybe,"to keep trying different dancers until something dicks."

I just returned from Toronto/Remingtons and found it a poor third compared to Campus and Stock in Montreal. Friday night (7/28) was the one good night at Remingtons with some gorgeous dancers and a fairly good crowd. Saturday was another story. The day time dancers were actually more memorable than the night shift and if it were not for the French Canadians the evening would have been a total loss. I also find the $20 (CDN) dances a rip off. I dropped over $200 before I found a dancer that would get into what I wanted. One of the dancers at Remingtons said that he did more as I spent more. I closed the wallet when we hit $100 (with still nothing but a promise) and he had the nerve to ask me for a tip! By the way, none of the guys mentioned in this site like Young Blood or Aaron were at Remingtons this weekend. Had they been there I'm sure it would have been more memorable. Next time I will spend a little more on airfare and travel to Montreal instead.

Mike from Toronto here, to tell the truth, Montreal is a much more liberal city in some ways, many stip clubs and that sort of thing. The escort scene there though doesnt seem as developed out there and its a city I have yet to work in. Remingtons is always a favorite with my American clients. both cities are great, its a tough call. But if you get to Toronto, look me up:)

The Montreal escort scene is very hit or miss. I have a couple of favs there, but there aren't many independents listed in Fugues (the mag you should pick up). The bath houses are much better, and free (who knew?). Usually lots of cute Quebecois there. The dance clubs are fine for lap dances (ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ), and straight, muscle men. I like Stock better than Campus. In any event, as Canada has become our banana republic to the North, it's way inexpensive and the natives a very friendly. Have fun.

Later.

Montreal - Canada

That's interesting... I hadn't heard about the court ruling that sex behind closed doors at stripclubs is legal in Canada. Could you give more detail on that? Does this ruling apply to all sex behind closed doors (ie. back at the hotel room)?

I can't personally vote on which is better Vancouver or Montreal as i've only been to Montreal... but the Montreal strip clubs are unreal. I highly recommend them. When I visited there the first time this past year, the strippers were very friendly.

Alankay, Young Blood was in Remington's last Friday (July 28)! He came a bit late, though (I saw him at about 11). Too bad you missed him; he might've given you what you'd been looking for that night ;-) BTW, if you go to the Gaiety, you can catch him there starting this week.

RE: Montreal - Canada

Having just returned from both cities, I'd have to strongly answer that Montreal is preferred. We'd been to Montreal before but never to Toronto. The first difficulty in Toronto is that it's posted that it's $10/dance but the dancers said otherwise - $20. The bartenders insisted that was supposed to be $10 and $20 for a disappointing dance often was not worth it. In spite of the doors on the stalls, what was allowed seemed to vary from dancer to dancer.

Montreal on the other hand has quite a variety and Stock this time was surprisingly great. The shows were quite good and the private shows (@ $10/song) were worthwhile. Best private shows amongst us were Jason and Tommy. Blake was also good but a little more conservative on what was allowed. My personal favorite was Christian at Campus who did a very hot couples dance with Casey on Friday night.
