...England, actually. The press is excited about the Queen Elizabeth's annual speech on August 4th, when she addresses all citizens who have attained the ripe old age of 100!

 

Thing is, her own mother "The Queen Mother" and last respected member of the family is amongst those on the list. Surely a "Mummy Dearest" moment.

 

On another note, it is reported that the Queen Mother, who is known to have several gay men in her employ, made her way down to the royal kitchens late one night, colostomy bag and all, and demanded "Will one of you queens bring this old Queen, a bottle of gin?"

 

Hehe.

When she passes it will be the true end of an era. She was Queen of England during World War II and is the absolute last of the generation who were leaders during that war. She knew Churchill, Roosevelt, Montgomery, Eisenhower etc, etc. While she was not political, she was unquestionably a cultural and moral leader during the darkest hours of British History.
