The newest Unzipped (their first monthly issue) gives details on how to buy tickets ($60 in advance) to Will Clark's third annual pool party with oodles of porn stars, benefitting the AID for AIDS Joey Stefano fund. Last year nobody reviewed this for us here. I sure hope that somebody we all know and love will bring home the dirt and dish out the tea for us this year.

Well, that brought back memories, Yuck! At the risk of totally showing my stupidity, I had a "pool party" with 8 escorts last season in Palm Springs. What a joke!! I had video stars and my favorite guys. What was I thinking. I had such anticipation of a fantasy party. My dearest regular, Brett Silvers and I were just sitting around by the pool one afternoon... and I said, "Lets have a party" . So Brett got on line and worked on the guest list. Well to make a long story very short. It was like inviting dancers to a dance. Last thing they wanted to do was perform. Probably my fault for not "directing" as well as I should have. I hope Will's is more interesting, couldn't be any worse. Have a good laugh boys!!!! I did all the way from the bank teller window. Maybe it was just chemestry or lack thereof. Dare I try it again this season?

Sorry that your pool party didn't take off as you might have hoped. Perhaps the chemistry amongst the guests wasn't there. Perhaps they did need some encouragement ("direction").

 

Some thoughts; take what you can use. I've read articles on orgy-planning (!) that suggest that you have on hand at least a few horny exhibitionists who are designated to "heat up the dance floor" for the crowd, to use your dance analogy. I would think that with a group of hot guys, having a couple of hot studs kick off the sex would get them in a mood to follow suit. It seems to work in the baths.

 

Now, the possibility is there that you were burned by that Escort technicality regarding the fact that you're paying for their time, with no spoken obligation to engage in sex for the money they receive. Did your "regular" explain the nature of the party you were putting together to the escorts he invited, and what you hoped to have happen? Did he understand what you wanted out of the day?

 

Suggestion: If you try this again, perhaps you should be more in charge of the guest list, so that you can insure that your guests understand your "partying" expectations. Or, maybe, try it again with some willing non-pay amateurs, just to get your successful party formula together, before you drop the big bucks on the studs of your fantasies.

DJ, Thanks for the info. My catalist for the day/evening, Brett was under the weather and was barly hanging in there. Had he been "up" to his regular antics, it would have been different. But you are correct, I didn't direct correctly. Another one of my regulars ( Mike Grey )...god i sound like a tramp... so what!!! Told me to let him organize the next one and set the guest list. Hello, All!

 

I'm all recovered and refreshed from the BAD BOYS POOL PARTY! Over $2500 was raised at the party for the Joey Stfano Fund, which provides gay porn performers who have contracted AIDS with financial assistance for housing and medical treatment they cannot afford.

 

I was a volunteer as well as an atendee, so I did not get as broad a view of the event as I would have liked, but I can assure you that it was a successful and HOT event!

Now for tidbits of my own (Wearing my best Hedda Hopper Chapeau):

 

The weather was scorchingly hot for the party, which made for the perfect excuse for wearing as little as possible. And the Stars did not disappoint (Although I wish "HEARTLAND" star ASHTON RYAN had lost the baggy shorts earlier in the afternoon! Ah well, with a face like his, much can be forgiven).

 

The patio of the private home that hosted the event was filled to capacity by mid-afternoon with hot men in their tightest beachwear, all enjoying the the mingling with their favorite performers, as well as cooling off in the pool and enjoying the food cocktails and music provided.

 

All the advertised stars appeared, mingling and greeting their fans, taking turns at bartending, and doing autograph signings through the afternoon. JEFF PALMER, in particular, gave of himself to his fans in his trademark 'interactive' fashion. I didn't see it happen, but I hear Jeff showered some of the crowd with some of his homeade "leche" :o ! JEFF does love going that extra mile for his fans....

 

 

All were in fine form for the day, except for THOMAS LLOYD, who was having back pain from a workout injury. Porn Star Partner MICHAEL KNIGHT told me that when he had tried to give THOM a low back massage the night before, his right arm and leg started flailing about. Take Good Care, THOM!

 

MICHAEL kept things lively, as he spent the entire afternoon running around buck naked! ZAK SPEARS also walked around with sunshine as his bathing suit, sporting a tasty-looking P.A. piercing. And were ZAK and new porn hottie TONY DONOVAN preparing for an upcoming flick? They were getting mighty cosy together in the pool...

Jokemiester of the Stars BRUCE VILLANCH was there, fresh from hosting a Gay Democrats event in Palm Springs. He looked as big & festive as ever, complete with the loveliest shade of Jungle Red on his toenails!

CHI CHI LARUE was staying cool, 'granting audiences' and scoping out the crowd for new discoveries in a shady section of the patio. Seen amongst her cohorts were Nubian Prince (excuse me, Quinte) JEREMY TUCKER, CHAD DONOVAN, and newcomer MICHAEL BRANDON, a cutie-in-the-buff who was showing that he could direct traffic to the left without ever having to use his hands ;-)!

1) MOST IMPORTANT CORRECTION: The BAD BOYS POOL PARTY raised over $25,000 not "over $2,500" as I originally mentioned. Will Clark confirmed that exact amount came to $26,861; an amount larger than the funds raised by the first two parties combined!
