Matt has a retarded computer and he wants me to let everyone know he's been trying to post, but his computer won't allow him to.

 

I told him when he buys his computers from SesameStreet.com, he shouldn't expect a lot on this site.

 

Anyway, we are working on solving his problem - the computer problem, not the other one - and hopefully he will be able to post soon, so he won't have to endure my postings like this.

 

BTW, he asked me to post a message to let everyone know he is not ignoring you.

 

Seriously, I regret not having his posts and I'm working diligently to figure out why he is the only person in the world that cannot post on this board.

Something similar happened to me - no sooner had I finally gotten over my recent fighting thread, turned on my heel and flounced out of it, than I turned off my computer, remembered an e-mail to a friend I had forgotten to post, turned around and found out that the on/off switch on my computer had broken. With e-machine tower problems where the tower is less than a year old, they just take it in and give you a new one. which of course when you're as bad on these things as I still am (still learning better, though) takes you a while to get everything back in place. My aol is now working but if anyone (and I can think of one) is trying to get me on my e-machines.net address, it is still not up and might not be for a couple of days/weeks.

My computer is not a piece of shit, just wanted to clarify that, I built it myself, it is an AMD K6II 450, cd writer, blah blah blah.... the problem i found out was with my internet explorer, I downloaded a beta version of the new browser, did some updates to my system and poof, no more posting, I'm now using Netscape and it all works fine: )

so the sesame street comment was cute but no my machine is a decent one, any one wanna buy me an Athlone???: ) my dream machine? That or a 69 mustang convertable would be nice.
