So many disappointments

I love this site as an aid which saves me money and time wasting. But the truth is that many of my experiences from this site recs have beedn miserable where the recs were best looking guy ever..and the guy is almost a troll. I was literally about to get Steve Teron after all the raves only to find out that many people had the view UGH!..I exaggerate but only slightly. I think what happens is that those of us with the bad times fear giving the bad reviews..myself included and therefore say nothing except occasionally on the message board which tends to have more of the real scoop. Why don't I help alleviate the problem and post bad reviews..well these guys know where I live after a session cuz I see people at home and since these guys somehow figure out who said the bad things as shown in their response then I do not fear so much what they say on the board as they showing up at my place again and either assaulting or embarassing me..I live in a chi-chi building in Manhattan and I am on the COOP board. I am out but certainly not out with escorting..there is a difference..so how to solve this problem, any thoughts? In the mean time I will continue to be skeptical of the main reviews and follow the email messages...blu

If you are having that many problems with reviews from this site, don't you think you owe it to other people and give a review of the "trolls", that you talk about.

By the way, what is your problem with Steve Teron?

I have never met him or been with him,(the uncut thing is a turn off for me) but, I've never been with an uncut guy. But, from what my friends tell me, it's the best sex they ever had.

There seems to be a reluctance to give a bad review.

 

I am also guilty of not taking the time or the energy to post bad reviews. Also, they for the most part, seem to be nice guys and I don't want to rain on their parade.

 

Steve Teron - a huge disappointment! BUT a very nice guy. In a response he asks why the person didn't say anything at the time. It is ackward to do so. I can't believe that he didn't know that he is much paunchier than the photos he uses and that if he has trouble getting or keeping it hard, the "john" is being short-changed.

 

Justin Powers - a rip-off artist! Fortunately his reviews - including one by me - all point to FORGET IT! This is one escort who gives all the rest a bad name. However, even he seems to be a personable guy who just doesn't live up to what he promises.

 

I'm learning that you have to be very specific with your "wants". Whenever I have been specific, with the exception of Powers, it has at least been acceptable.

 

I wish I could be one of those people who can say at the door - or even in bed - "sorry this is not what we agreed upon" or "you are not what you presented yourself to be", but alas I feel sorry for them and do not want to hurt their feelings.

 

As for them knowing where I live if I did give a bad review, they have a lot at stake and I don't see them effecting reprisals.

 

I would appreciate a bit more candor about the disappointments and will try to come forth more readily myself.

I have clients all the time tell me about dismal experiences they've had with other escorts and I always encourage them to post their thoughts, but they rarely do.

 

If you're afraid of having men from the dark side know where you live - Hello, don't invite them over. I agree that if you don't want your neighbors to know that you see escorts it is rather foolish to invite them to your home. There is not only the question of one of them coming to see you in response to a bad review -- what do you plan to do if there is a serious dispute about the fee or some other aspect of the arrangement?

 

I think it's absurd to refuse to speak your mind because you're afraid an escort might yell at you. If you respect yourself, do what you think is right and deal with whatever consequences arise.

Hey, Bluboy, have no fears, hon, give a fair review, it the boys don't like it let them have the last word. No skin off your nose. And trust me they are not going to mess with you, they would be fools to do so and really don't have the time, remember the pen is mighter than the sword. I gave one rotten review to a kid that had 5 or so glowing reviews, bottom line, he didn't provide the service contracted for. He responed to Hooboy, who posted it, and i responded to Hooboy with my side of the story. I asked Hooboy to remove some information not pertiant to the response, which he did. So everything the guy said was true, and i just laughed all the way to the bank. Trust me, we have much more "power" and can inflick far more damage than the escort can, should we choose to.

Do not forget this is a goodwill business. and when one bad review is posted with the good, I pay attention... there is always a reason. I remember following Hooboy's conflict with Josh Spears... He can change names as much as he wants but all of those negitive reviews will follow him where ever he goes. So buck up, Blu, I have a place in upscale, Las Palmas in Palm Springs and I have no fear of "entertaining" my gent callers there. Pick your men wisely,,, the more reviews the better the chances of getting a good reading on the guy.

Well...I dont agree with using Steve Teron as an example. He is what he is, and quite frankly a lot of clients like that. He markets himself reputably, and I have certainly have had the fantasy of him teaching me to be a decent bottom (for the record, Drew Andrews is the one that originally taught me how to bottom...and to this day it happens extremely rarely).

 

There are some good reasons to be skeptical of the review process. It has gotten so bad in vegas that every new escort is warned that it is even suspected that they write there own review they will never get another referal from another escort.

 

One of the things we are proud of in vegas is that two escorts made the top ten list last year and we didnt even know this site existed. Well...we do have some newcomers with some good promise that have not been reviewed...studdnutts, jesse, and jj (jj's site should be up by next week...and he is definitely hot and has just finished the mario roma school of how to be a good whore). JJ has been around for a few years...but he seems to have some good potential (and i hear the pictures are real hot).

 

Remember...if you are coming to vegas and they are not on the website http://www.whatshotnews.com/referals, then there is a reason for it.
