I know this is kind of silly thing to post on, but did anyone catch the premiere episode of "The Real World" Tuesday night? It's the 9th season, based in New Orleans.

Anyhow, I just feel the need to tell everyone I can anonymously that I am head over heals in love with Danny, the hot gay guy on the show this season. He's simply one of the most beautifuly creatures I've ever been fortunate enough to lay my eyes on, and seems so damned down to earth and good-hearted. As sad as it is to say, I can't stop thinking about him. If I ever come out of the closet, this will be a turning point.

I doubt he escorts, but I'd pay a hell of a lot to spend an hour on him, that's for sure. Anyone else catch it? Definitely the sexiest gay man I've ever seen on mainstream TV. They even showed a makeout scene with his blurred, closeted, military boyfriend.

That's all. Thanks for listening.

Mark, I cannot believe you posted this. I watched the episode and felt the same way. I was so in lust with this guy and wanted to let everyone know. He is irresistable. Someone once said Hooboy was a teenage girl trapped in a man's body. That is exactly how I felt after watching that. Cant wait for next Tuesday!

I caught portions of it too and agree with you, except thought the military guy was really crappy to him.

That dude is playing games and using the military as an excuse.

Just my opinion. But this gentle young man is in for a lot of hurt and will eventully end up marrying some female cheerleader, then when he turns 40 and goes on a business trip, reads this site and hires his first escort, discovers his great mistake.

Then, his true character will show. It's sad, but it happens all too often.

Okay, it may be a silly topic for this site but you're dealing with an webmeister who gets his daily news from Comedy Central.

And does anyone other than me find the gay movie reviewer the funniest person on television? I love a reviewer who bases his reviews on how good looking the men or boys are.

I don't have a lot of time to watch TV, so please feel free to keep us updated on this pretty boy on Real World here.

Mark, I totally agree with your comments as well as the others. There is something very special about Danny. Danny has a great personality and a smile that melts. I think Danny has the hots for Jamie despite his boyfriend and Jamie's less than friendly attitude toward Jamie. I will be watching this show every week to see what happens. I'm disappointed in the fact that when I was in NOLA in January I saw Matt at a pay phone being filmed by a film crew in front of my hotel. I coundn't forget those orange glasses. How I wished I followed them to Danny!

Wow! Now isn't this refreshing! A post with no relevance to escorting, dick size, bad escorts, scams, favoritism, etc. In short an admittedly silly but just plain fun topic, and not one tired, angry, bitter retort has been made. It is all too much. Please...someone...come on and put this fellow Mark in his place. Such frivolity shouldn't be allowed to go unchallenged when there's so much we could be trashing here instead. (MARK..God bless you for having the nerve! And I'll be watching for the next episode, for sure!) The post is young, however, so watch your back.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-19-00 AT 07:02PM (EST)[p]Hey Guys, I taped and watched the Real World NOLA yesterday and I agree with all of you. Danny is a fox. His smile is a killer and I kept asking myself if I had met this guy somewhere. He just seemed so open and friendly. I hope I discover a link since I think he is from Georgia and that is next door to Tennessee. For those of you who cannot watch on Tuesday nights, MTV repeats each episode several times during the week mostly on the weekend.

Okay gents, as long as we are talking TV, how many of you enjoy a daily dose of "Strip Poker?" Some real prime stud muffins end up in various stages of undress and one can only wish! Usually more young six-packs than you can shake a dick at. Yes, its pure trash, but does provide some healthy eye-candy and a lovely fantasy just before bedtime. And then my cable provider follows it up with "10's" If you can get past all the wiggly-giggly silicone, some nice views on the old boob-tube.

I have always loved "The Real World" even though there is nothing 'real' about it. The people are selected through a rigorous process, dropped into a multi-million dollar house, and know that they will soon be over-night celebrities.

I wish there was more self-awareness of the action by its players. Only Judd (the San Francisco show) had some distance on the whole topic. For the most part, the others never discuss the fact that they are miked for sound (check the transmitters they all wear on their belts) and that there is a camera crew following them to every club and restaurant they go to. And isn't it amazing that they keep getting fantastic jobs thrown at them? (Dan of the Miami show gets hired as a model and works for Ocean Drive Magazine right away. Hmmm..might the magazine have been interested in the free PR that resulted?) Only the NYC cast - the first year - had no idea what they were getting into. All the other people have been tainted. I'm not being critical, by the way, it's still fun to watch them implode.

Anyway, back to the New Orleans show.

It's interesting that there had been a 'casting special' on MTV last week as part of the build-up for the new season. In that special, Danny is interviewed with his girlfriend and he talks about the women in his life and how he is a 'bad boy'. When his image comes up, the women in the audience for the special 'oooh' and 'aaaah'. It's pretty surprising that he didn't reveal that he was gay at the time of the interview.

Obviously, MTV knew about this when they aired the casting special because this is all done long after the actual filming is completed.

Now, for the soap opera aspects. Hell yeah, Danny is cute. But then so is Jamie. And Danny has the hots for Jamie - as would I. Will Danny lure Jamie to the Dark Side?? Stay tuned viewers!

Yes, I'd have to agree that this is indeed a silly topic with silly posts. It is not easy to think of anything sillier than to say that one is "in love" with a person one has never met, doesn't know in any real sense and never will meet or know. Yep, that's silly all right.

"Real World" is also very silly, at least those parts of it that I've watched. Few if any of the cast members ever seem to do anything "real." The black guy in the New Orleans house, if I remember correctly, said that he wants to be a pediatrician. So, why isn't he in med school? What's he doing spending six months on a game show? The only cast member I can recall who was doing anything significant with her life was the medical intern in San Francisco, and she got less air time than any of the others. That whole season seemed to focus on the bicycle messenger who was always getting into fights with the others. That's definitely my idea of silly.

I saw Survivors for the first time last night. It's not nearly as bad a show as I was prepared for it to be. And there are a couple of honeys and keepser on that program, too! Talk about the blond with the abs!
