Living Fresh is on 22nd St east of 6th Ave. my office was close by for several years and I like the place very much. Good mani/pedi and excellent massage. Private rooms with showers. It’s been 3 years since I’ve been there. But the location is accurate.

I love NYC; really I do. However, I'm kind of irked that the original poster, @ilovejockstaps, and also @fm0322 both seem to assume (like many New Yorkers) that it is the only place in the universe. The original poster seems to assume that when he mentions "Living Fresh" that readers will know that he's talking about a spa in New York City, and then @fm0322 attempts to clarify by mentioning the intersection of two streets while never mentioning what city we're talking about. This is just about as helpful as saying "it's that place over by the Duane Reade."

I hope no one will take this teasing criticism too seriously, I'm not trying to pick a fight, but is it unreasonable to ask that we all should spend just a moment considering whether our posts are going to make sense to readers before clicking the "post" button?

(And, thank you @Tarte Gogo for the helpful clarification.)

In the future, I will add the city name to my post, but to be fair... I was specifically asking for recommendations @ the spa. So, if the name doesn’t immediately register with you, it’s a safe assumption to assume that you’d have no recommendations for me, right? I’m not trying to argue, but I think I’ve got a pretty valid point there.

Damn! I’m totally busted and guilty as charged. I apologize and I’ll clean up my act. Yes, I am one of those persons who defaults to thinking everyone in the forum is a New Yorker. I promise to be mindful of that in the future.

Of course we do...because it IS the only place in the universe....that matters.

Paris....is just a village where they designs our clothes....

Hong Kong...is the town where we get cheap shit made....

Tokyo....is where our sushi chefs come from...and they never go back....

London...is a local suburb where our plays get their out of town run.....

LA...is where they make our movies.....so we tolerate their vapid behavior....

And Chicago...like all the rest....just wants to be New York!

Yes....we’re narcissistic self centered bitches....and loving it!

I think that’s fair.

If one doesn’t know the place, one can’t provide recommendations for it, and so, for the purpose of helping the OP (which is why the thread was created) one shouldn’t care where it is.

Unless one has another purpose than helping the OP.

Also, it is top result in Google: “spa living fresh” or “living fresh spa”

NYC is the most provincial place in America.

Here’s an excellent example of NYC provincialism: Believing America’s best sushi is found in NYC. o_O:p:confused::D

(Hint: Think HI, WA, CA)

I have no idea - but he is certainly Russian. He was sitting when I walked past - smiled warmly and pro-actively said hello as I was leaving (I had a different Russian guy, Sergey, for my session). He looked fairly tall and had a beautiful face. It was a quick glance, but I was so impressed with how handsome he was that I asked the guy at the front desk what his name was. Not sure if that helps!
