Circumcision

I am an uncircumcised male and all my life have wised otherwise. I am more attracted to cut men and think a nice trimmed penis is more pleasing to the eye, hand, mouth, and ass. I have found sex with a condom very unsatisfactory and at times wear blisters on the foreskin during a lengthy session or from a rough hand job.

Recently I have been considering circumcision even though the modern concensus seems to be turning against it. I would be interested in hearing from men who have had it done as adults with your pros and cons....or just any comments on the issue.

Having been circumcized, alas--as male infants most often are in the U.S--I can't comment on the problems (I almost said drawbacks!) of being uncut--especially those you describe, which were all news to me. Sorry about that.

But let me be the first on this thread to say that, to me (to my eye, hand and mouth), the uncut cock is uniquely beautiful and erotic. No cut cock, however big or artfully whittled, can compare to the uncut version. And I've often thought that serious connoisseurs of cock, the size queens and the virtuouso cocksuckers, must inevitably prefer their guys to be as nature made them. I know that's not the case, though. Still, I can't help wondering why. To me, the choice is obvious.

If I were you, I'd count my blessing.

I personally love and prefer uncut cocks, although I don't turn down a nice cut cock! ;-) I love nothing more than an erect cock that still has an overhang of skin. The beauty of a cut or uncut cock is obviously in the eye of the beholder, but I would encourage you to keep your cock as nature intended!

Yes, certain cut cocks fall into the 'cocks you can't say no to' category, being so admirable in size and form that I, for one, am willing to give them honorary uncut status.

There aren't all that many, though. Bill Eld was an example, Johnny Hardin, too. And most recently, Kris Lord.

Our resident doctor's opinion is, of course, the one to be heard on this issue. He's kewl.

I got "cut" when I was a junior in college, so I must have been 21-22. My foreskin was painfully tight during sex. I really didn't think much about it in terms of preference. I was more concerned about how long I'd have to do without sex. The proceedure was no big deal. It was slightly uncomfortable to get an erection for maybe 2 weeks, and sex of any kind was basically out of the question for those 2 weeks, which, at the time, seemed like eternity. I think I had 16 entertaining stitches in the Little General. Since my experience was about 18 years ago, I'm guessing the proceedure has probably been perfected and you might be able to go directly from surgery to sex. I could be wrong.

I agree with Skeptic - nothing more naturally beautiful than an uncut cock. Personally, if my knight in shining armour rides up (he's been hopelessly lost and rumored dead for a number of years), the LAST question I'll ask about is the status of his circumcision. However, if it would make YOU happy, GO FOR IT!!! Hell, I think you can even have it put back on if you change your mind again!

Let us know. Good luck!

Guest Dr. DG

Thank you for the wonderful introduction, RO. I get asked about circumcision a lot more than my husband (a urologist) does. But then again, he is far more closeted than I am!

The truth about circumcision is that there is no truth to the old rumors about a circumcised male having a lower incidence of penile cancer, etc. Most newer studies which have examined this question over a period of time failed to show that there is any positive association between being circumcised and any lower incidence of genitourinary cancers. Some articles have gone on to suggest that circumcision is instead ingrained into our culture as a result of Judeo-Christian values as opposed to any true hygienic or medical reason.

I really do not recommend that this gentleman get a circumcision unless medically necessary. Circumcision at a later age is painful, and opens up the normal risks associated with surgery: infections, pain, etc. I am opposed to surgery except for medically valid purposes, with cosmetic surgery excepted. Circumcision may be an accepted form of cosmetic surgery if you wish to view it that way, but most urologists would question why you wished to have it done at a later age and may strongly counsel against it.

Circumcision is well a matter of personal taste. I myself am "uncut", and this does not seem to pose a problem between either my husband (he is "cut") or myself.

Please reconsider your decision unless you are willing to go forth with the risks attendant to surgery.

Thanks for listening!

I consider circumcision a form of child abuse which should be prosecuted. I cannot imagine an adult consenting to that barbaric torture. Cutting off a normal foreskin leaves horrible scarring which is nerveless, "dead" tissue. Pulled stitches leave even worse scars. Don't get cut, dude!!!

I respect everyone's opinion here, and I hope you will respect mine. I think cut is better looking and cleaner. I would prefer cut over uncut. I also agree with others on this string in that, I would not kick a good looking uncut guy out of bed.

I felt I needed to comment, since it seemed to be a bit one sided on this string.

For those of you who are wondering, I am cut. :)

I'm with you, Baggle. I prefer the look and feel of a circumcized cock, and I think my preference comes from growing up in a world filled with cut guys (like myself), so that cut became my default image. But I don't find the uncut version unattractive, and would never turn down an offer from a dick in the hood. The practice of routine infant circumcision (except for religious observance) should be discouraged, although I would not support prosecution for parents who choose to have their sons circumcized. Bob, I think it would be a big mistake for any man to have himself circumcized for any reason other than medical necessity.

I know that I was "done" when a baby, but it seems to have grown back. Is that possible?

Maybe just from too much WANKING.

As far as what I prefer. I go through phases.

For the longest time I really liked cut, but lately I seem to prefer Uncut. Most Catholics are uncut of course and I seem to sway that way as I love the French boys and of course the Italians

and and and......

One thing I'm not fond of is the PENCIL POINT look, when there is so much skin that it Ruffles at the End. We used to call that "Lace Curtains".

I guess I like "Tie Backs" when it comes to Drapage. As long as the drapes are cleaned on a regular basis. I can't stand FROMAGE or even a skanky smell. A real turnoff.

Thank you to all of you who offered comments and advice to my thread. I was hoping to hear from more of you who were circumcised as adults and have lived happily ever after; however, the concensus seems to be against it. For the time being, I guess I'll forget it and spend the money on escorts...escorts with giant cut cocks.

I've read the above postings and here's my 2 cents worth.

There's been a debate going on for years about this subject. You will find as many doctors who are for circumcision as there are against it. Those who are against it cite "mutilation, etc."(see above posting by the doctor) while those who are for it cite "health issues, etc" It is all a matter of preference. If you like circumcised penises you will be "for it" and if you like uncircumcised penises you will be against it. So my advise to you is this: If you like the circumcised look, go for it. You will not be scarred for life (unless you have an idiot do it). Find yourself a qualified urologist and get his professional opinion about what the results will be. If you don't want to be circumcised then don't do it. Just make sure you keep the area clean. Personally, I like the "clipped look".

Bob, doctors don't agree, cultures don't agree, religions don't agree, individuals don't agree. It all comes down to your personal preference as to how your dick looks and feels.

I am cut and my personal preference is strongly for cut. And, if he had not been cut, I would not have had a long-term relationship with my former lover, who has become a life-long friend.

He was not cut as a child. He said he always hated the look of having foreskin. So, as an adult of 20 or so, he had the surgery. He said he was glad he did it, and has had no regret whatsoever. Oddly, perhaps, he does not care so much about other guys being cut, but he certainly has no desire to have any of it back for himself.

It is your body, and you can shape it if you want to. Mustang

I was circumcised as an infant and not was not given any choice in the matter. I have spent the last seven years restoring my foreskin. I think an uncut penis is one of the most erotic things in the world. You need to do some reading at <http://www.cirp.org/>, before seriously considering this. Circumcision is more than just removing a "flap of skin."

Obviously, you should do what best suits you. You should be fully informed. Once you have done this you could restore, but the damage is not fully reversible.

LAST EDITED ON May-27-00 AT 11:50PM (EST)[p]DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

I am cut, and wish I would have had a say in the matter, but alas, yes even in Canada, up until the late seventies, they did the snip as a regular procedure: (

I personally think, and this is an informed "professional" opinion, that once cut, a cock loses alot of it's sensation. Now don't get me wrong, I still have plenty of feelings in dickzilla, but from my experience with the many men I've had sex with, the sensations I feel are incomparable to that of my uncut friends. (or maybe I'm just really really good )

I find that uncut men have way more sensitivity on the head of their penis, consider that this part of the penis is usually covered, therefore not rubbing on underwear, or jeans for those of you who like the 'commando' approach, hence not desensitized from years of stimulation.

And one last thing, an intact cock is so much more attractive, and fun to suck, and chew on.

The opinions stated above are my own, and do not reflect those of the site administrators, or it's advertisers: )

Being uncut, I can testify that the flacid uncut penis head is much more sensitive. Even washing it with the fingers is a little painful and wearing clothes with the skin back would be very uncomfortable. But, once it becomes erect, it is much less sensitive than before. I assume that once erect, the uncut continues to be more sensitive than the cut penis, but I obviously dont know from personal experience. I agree cut is generally more attractive than uncut if there is a lot of foreskin. It if fun sucking an uncut cock, knowing that it is so very sensitive.
