I know a lot of people on here are down on the changes to websites but trafficking is a serious problem that is happening under our noses all over the country. I’m no expert on this - just a concerned citizen - but we should all become more attuned to the signs and do what we can to avoid supporting suspected offenders.

Neither am I, but I agree. While the situation is being weaponized for political gain, it does exist.

 

It was straight friends who brought it to my attention with the Asian massage spas operating in North Atlanta. These women approach or are approached by a handler who agrees to get them into the country, pay for their visas, passports, air fare and provide housing when they arrive and in turn, the women work for the handler until the debt is paid off.

 

That said, my friends have stopped patronizing these places, for the spas are being busted and shut down like crazy over the past six months.

 

The authorities haven’t focused on the gay community, (not yet anyway), but it seems to exist mostly from Eastern Europe and Russia, and Central and South America.

There is an apt complex behind Lindberg Marta that is NOTORIOUS (I have personal experience on this) for bad masseurs. If i'm talking to someone and they say they are there, I immediately disengage.

Alex left that complex over a year ago and is now in Sandy Springs. He definitely was not part of the groups others have mentioned that come through there.
