I keep hearing that the test after landing requirement isn't being well enforced most places and even the test-before to the US is just to get on the plane really as Immigration isn't checking it much. My return test was checked at the ticket counter/baggage drop off at Heathrow but nowhere else. I guess if you skip that, you might get away with it. Hard to get an answer, hard to schedule, easy to break a date, etc. One thing in common is everyone is amazed at him in person.
