  1. @nate_sfIve been away from the forum for a while and just learned on this gathering last week. Thank you for your efforts to make this event happen. As an organizer of previous DC Forum gatherings, I’m well aware of what goes into making this event occur. Given the circumstances regarding Covid cancellation makes sense. Frustrating as hell but sensible none the less. I’m wondering if the entire MAL event will get canceled before the date arrives anyway. My plan is to monitor the situation and depending on various factors I may swing by the Hyatt. I’m more concerned about the asinine draconian overreacting restrictions put in place by DC government than the virus anyway. I will save my rant on this subject for another place and time. Sorry to see this event impacted by Covid again. This gathering has been incredible in past years. I’m saddened that I won’t get to see Forum members and old friends this year.
  2. I have never considered the word “succinct“ in association with a Steven Kesslar post.
  3. This is very sad news. I will always remember Daddy/Guy fondly having first met him at a DC Forum event as well as Palm Springs and having lunch in Las Vegas several times. Some of us first knew him as Daddy, others as Guy Fawkes on this forum. A few even knew him by his name IRL. He certainly was no wall flower with his boisterous personality. Guy was a mentor to many an escort and client offering sage advice about this business and hobby. He kept this site alive and vibrant from its early days under Hooboy and his own subsequent management. How he achieved this for so long under so many adversities we will never comprehend. He did all this out of his sense of community and for all the members of this site, working guys and hobbyist. Certainly there were conflicts with individuals and groups of members from time to time. Administering this site was no easy task. Guy was accused of many unkind motives, some may have been true, most were certainly not true. Critics always have a better idea yet never step up to provide assistance. Through all of the many controversies and fighting Guy continued to maintain this forum despite criticism. Guy maintained a true libertarian perspective of allowing many here a tremendous amount of leeway. When situations or behaviors became intolerable for him and the integrity of the community he took action and moved on. I would never have had his level of tolerance for many of these issues and would have shut it all down had it been my prerogative. Guy had a live and let live attitude that many should emulate. This forum allowed me to become a better client. It gave me an appreciation for the men who choose escorting. And it allowed me to build friendships with several clients and escorts that will always be a part of my life. Daddy/Guy made all that possible and I’m grateful to him for his dedication and perseverance. RIP Daddy/Guy.
  4. I am stepping away from organizing the MAL Forum gathering. If anyone wants to undertake that effort please feel free. If circumstances allow I may be available to answer any questions about organizing.
  5. This news saddens me. Adam Smith was an incredible and unique contributor to this forum. I’m sorry to learn of his passing. RIP
  6. There’s way more here than being reported.
  7. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this year. Sorry to miss seeing everyone.
  8. Oh My! I’ve been away from the site for a few months dealing with personal matters. This news is most distressing. I pray that Daddy @Guy Fawkes pulls through and recovers quickly.
  9. I’ve been getting a larger than usual amount of telemarketing and unrecognized phone calls lately. I seldom answer an unrecognized call and rarely do these callers leave a message. These are immediately blocked. I’ve tried using some of the online number look up sites but most of them just suck. They want fees and whatnot to provide basic information on these calls. Does anyone have suggestions for reverse number look up sites that actually provide real information for free on a not too outrageous fee? Thanks
  10. I’m saddened to hear this news. He was a fine contributor to this forum for many years. My condolences to his family and friends.
  11. I’m clearing a friends apartment who’s in hospice. I’ve found so much unexpected things it’s been interesting to say the least. The porn collection was easy to deal with. It’s the kink gear that appears in various drawers, boxes, and closets that was unexpected for me. I had no idea he was into some of this stuff. Does anyone know of gay bookstores or websites that buys porn collections? Just seeing if that’s an option.
  12. I hope that it will be possible to attend. Let’s hope there are no lockdowns going into 2021.
  13. I wouldn’t have any issues with a therapist who escorted or appeared in porn videos. Same for any other profession an escort choose when he’s ready to move on in life. Its the professional qualifications that should matter. Some may have an issue with a sex worker in a particular field and that’s their problem to deal with if they cannot handle the matter.
  14. Looks to me like you hijacked your own thread getting upset with @sam.fitzpatrick responding to a sensible question from @Charlie about social distancing in a legal proceeding. You got your knickers in a twist over a minor digression in what was an interesting discussion. Conversations ebb and flow between topics when people gather in person, admittedly rare nowadays, why would written posts online be any different?
  15. On several occasions Billy has ridiculed the clients who hired escorts. He’s called them pathetic, desperate, and unattractive. He’s made it clear that he’s doing them a favor allowing them to hire him. I’ve seen him in DC several times. Besides his attitude that high high pitched voice is really annoying. He’s a real piece of work.
  16. G Billy and Seth got divorced well over a year ago. In typical Billy Santoro fashion it was an absolute mess with recriminations and nasty accusations. There was gossip about Seth suffering from battered spouse syndrome. Gage entered the picture some time last year. Gage is from Australia.
  17. I prefer not to host in my residence. Some years ago I hosted a very popular local DC guy at my place. The session was fantastic and he certainly lived up to his well deserved reputation. As he was leaving picking up his backpack a set of brass knuckles fell out making a loud ping as it hit the floor. We were both taken aback and there was an awkward silence for a moment. We looked at each other and he scooped up the knuckles stuffing them into the backpack and quickly left. I decided then I would no longer hire and host in my home.
  18. Ugh....these profiles hurt my eyes.
  19. I will plan to att if an event is held. Life has to move on. We have survived and adapted to plagues for our entire existence as a species. The same will happen with Covid-19.
  20. The reminder notification popped up on my phone on Wednesday, the day I was supposed to leave for PS. I was so bummed. Looking to next year for sure.
  21. For me it’s the Peter Gunn Theme by Henry Mancini. The subtle drum rhythm and bass building to horns, trumpets, and trombone capture a aura of Jazz sophistication that brings out fond memories of a bygone era.
  22. The English Game. The story of how soccer transitions from a gentlemen‘s game to working class sport. Julian Fellowes of Downton Abbey fame produced this series. The male leads are very attractive.
  23. Killian, Its refreshing to learn that you are finding new balance in your life. Moving on from the past and looking to the future is the best course. Welcome back to the exciting realm of escorting. Wishing you great success.
  24. That picture was uploaded today, April 12. His facial features have definitely changed and he looks somewhat thinner than in the other photos.
