  1. Thank you. I saw a podiatrist on Monday and he examined my calf. Taking the conservative treatment route and he wrapped my lower leg with a compression bandage and using crutches at the moment. Wrote a prescription for physical therapy once l am past the acute injury phase. I guess I’m just curious on how the healing process works. Does the muscle tear just grow back together over time? When I try to extend my leg, the calf is really tight and tender. When the muscle has some blood flow, it feels better and easier to lengthen the calf muscle. I have work has me on my feet and moving a lot so I want to make sure I’m not doing anything to make it worse.
  2. Looking for some quick advice. My calf muscle just made a popping sound and now the muscle is so tight and painful, it’s hard to balance, bear weight or walk. When I stand straight, I can feel it trying to stretch and elongate, but one wrong movement makes me lose balance and almost fall down. Can’t see a doctor until Monday. reading online for some treatment advice - recommends ice and elevation. Another said heat and gentle stretching. Unsure which to follow but my guess is elevate with ice? I know this is a common injury, I’m just it sure how severe mine is. Can’t tell if it’s torn or a bad strain. Any advice would be appreciated.
  3. Thank you. When you saw him, did you request extras prior to booking, or did it happen organically?
  4. I wanted to see if anyone has any current feedback on this masseur who goes by Alex (as well as Max and some other names). He’s been reviewed in the past with mixed feedback. if anyone has recently had a session with him, I would love to hear your feedback. The big questions are - is he a skilled therapist, does he provide sensual elements (nude, MT, HE) and if so, was that discussed prior to booking or was it organic? Please feel to PM me if discretion is necessary. Thanks in advance! https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/20988/
  5. Is the hollywood gay and lesbian center offering the MP vaccine to anyone, or is there a criteria to be eligible?
  6. When I lived in La Jolla, I had to commute to National City. Chula Vista is a bit further south, but that commute was fairly easy considering I had a few options on which freeway to take. Also,a lot of people who live in Mexico actually work In San Diego county so the traffic going north is tougher than going south in the morning (and vice versa in the afternoon)
  7. Pledged and initiated into Kappa Sigma in the mid 80’s. Had no idea what Rush was and tagged along with some friends who also ended up joining. I was a naive teenager and extremely shy in high school. This experience was the best part of my college life. While I was glad to graduate and leave fraternity life for a couple of decades, when I think about it, it brings back the best memories.
  8. Do you live towards the coast in Huntington Beach, or more northeast towards Garden Grove/Fountain Valley? If you live near the beach, the vibe is pretty similar to Pacific Beach. La Jolla is similar to Newport Beach & Corona Del Mar.
  9. In regards to homeless people and camps, avoid downtown San Diego - especially around the Gaslamp District and Horton Plaza area. Another area to consider is Little Italy or Old Town Both are close to the coast and very quaint I enjoy the neighborhood of Little Italy the only drawback is the tourism and proximity to the airport with noise pollution
  10. I lived in La Jolla back in 2017 and absolutely loved San Diego county. It is a bit pricey to live there, but the beaches and neighborhoods are beautiful and safe. It ended up being a bit “sleepy” for me and I headed to the city. I suggest looking north of Chula Vista. I’m not sure how far or long you are willing to commute. North Park, University Heights, Hillcrest is the core gayborhood with a laid back vibe and rich culture. I was excited to move out of a suburban OC city and San Diego was paradise.
  11. I realize this post was from a year ago, but Isuffered from Plantar fasciitis years ago. I tried everything and the relief was minimal. What ended up working for me was going to an old school acupuncturist in Chinatown /DTLA and had him perform acupuncture on my feet, calves and Achilles’ tendon. It was a painful 30 minute session, not going to lie. Then he massaged (squeezed, gripped and twisted) my feet, calves and Achilles’ tendon so hard i had tears in my eyes. Within a couple of days, it was gone. I don’t know how, but that’s the only thing different that I did in the year I was suffering and it vanished. Eastern medical treatment did the trick.
  12. Bumping this post. any info from those who have hired Layne, Mateo or Kyle! I'm interested as well.

  18. Has anyone arranged a massage session with him? He looks amazing but wondering if anyone had feedback or recommendations?
  19. texted him earlier today. he is out of town until monday and planning to book a session when he returns.
  20. Sounds interesting. Would love details when you finalize the meet up!
  21. Ditto. I saw him years ago when he used to rent a room for massage in van nuys. He was in great shape, fun and gave a pretty decent massage. Saw him a year ago and it was a complete 180. Talked way to much, massage was unfocused and was way shorter than the hour. His converted garage or living space was a mess. Stay away.
  22. There was nothing discussed, however it did happen both times. No extra fees but I did increase his tip after the session. I believe the masseurs name was Brian?
  23. Ive been there twice. It's an Asian/Thai massage set up. Very clean with only 2-3 rooms. The massage was fair, and the masseur did provide HE. Prices are reasonable and inline with most Thai massage places.
  24. i have been to him. Nice guy, great body and hung big, but the massage was done on the floor and not good at all. Would not repeat
