Yeah, the ad is gone again. He is staying one step ahead of the law! Beware. Masseurfinder is failing in its due diligence department.

He’s back on the massage site. The photos are of someone else. Very, very sketchy. Avoid.

His studio is a rental. The rental fee is incorporated into his charge.

Scam. Avoid.

We are being punked. Not sure if this is a goofy spa promotion attempt or just entertainment for some bored spa employees. Lol.

There is no online presence. This is just typical self promotion by a spa operator. Nothing to see here.

Nice guy, but very expensive for…not much. The $250 “sensual” option probably isn’t what you think it might be. For that, you apparently need to bring in the “partner” starting at $400. Also, his MF ad has a photo of a massage table in room that does not exist in his apartment. What is the point of that? The massage itself is amateur. No obvious training. Just some light pinching.

Haha. Go to your doctor. Get all advised shots. Use basic common sense and enjoy yourself. No one, or almost no one, offering massage or more is going to be honest about what communicable disease they may have. They aren’t going to say: “I have x, y and Z, guys - come and get it!” Lol.

And one last thought: You big tippers produce price pressures that will eventually bring about hyperinflation and destroy world order. So stop it!

Ha. Exactly. When I buy bread I don’t think, gee, I should pay more because they had to build an oven. That implicit in the price. My doctor must rent an office and pay a staff. Should I tip him? No: He charges for that in his fee. And so does your masseur. But, again, it’s your money. Give as much of it away as you like.

And that should be the final word on the topic. It’s your money. Use it as you wish. Is it a tip? Is it payment for extra service? It’s what ever you want it to be! Enjoy.

Right. The comparison to restaurant servers to justify tipping private masseurs is wrong. Waiters often get paid minimum wage by their employers because tipping is expected in the business model. And waiters aren’t getting a cut of the restaurant revenue. And waiters don’t set their own schedules. And waiters aren’t generally being paid $150-$200 an hour. It’s not a legitimate comparison. If you “tip” because you get additional services or hope to get additional services in the future, that is a different matter. That’s less of a tip and more of a payment for the additional service! Anyway, people should do with their money as they wish. It’s no one else’s business, but I believe most clients don’t tip private masseurs for the advertised service at the advertised price.

Independent masseurs should ask the price they wish to be paid for the services rendered. If the services exceed the advertised labor, a “tip” may very well be warranted. If not, the advertised fee is sufficient. This approach has always worked very well for me. Let’s not play games.

It wouldn’t bother me at all. But if it diminishes your experience then by all means reschedule. You are spending your money and you should be totally comfortable with the situation.

OMG. I just noticed he now charges $250 for his silly, bizarre and totally awful “service”. It’s like a prank! To be clear, the photos are the best he has ever looked in his history. He’s not all that. Whatever….but he (if true to form) will sit you down like a child and go over the “rules” for 10 minutes (which is part of your “massage” time, BTW), and those rules include no touching him (no one who meets him will want to touch him, trust me) and that he does not want to touch or see your privates in any way shape or form (fine with me!) and that if you want to view his flabby belly from a distance it’s going to cost you (no thanks!). I can’t believe I stayed for that freak show. Live and learn. AVOID even if he is offering his “massage” for free.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Unless you like to be lectured and quizzed before receiving a lousy “massage” on a hard mat. And this doesn’t even begin to cover all the oddities and idiocy experienced while visiting this guy.

Why not just avoid the situation and not send a photo? Why put your photo in a text exchange? It all seems harmless and low risk until it isn’t.

It’s for screening. I wouldn’t participate in that or help start a trend. Next.

Don’t send a deposit!

I’ve never seen Jacob but saw “Scott” about 10 years ago and these same photos were out of date then. As others have noted it was terrible. I should have just paid and left. He went heavy into the “sensual” aspect of the massage and I had absolutely zero interest in that with him. Zero.

Photo 2 is interesting, if paying close attention.

Like a lot of service industry businesses there was a huge uptick in demand following COVID restrictions and now that demand has normalized. There will be a readjustment period.
