This is amazing, thank you all again for such thoughtful responses. I spent a few minutes taking pictures of myself before realizing I will need to dedicate a little more time to it (and soon enough have someone take some for me I'm sure). I think this is a step up for now while I process and execute on the advice from here. @hypothetically thank you for answering every part of my post as well as the kind words As far as the avatar goes, do you think the current one works? Admittedly, I was hoping it would show a bit more of my physique @not2rowdy the advice regarding face pictures was really great, there were a couple things here I had not thought of or considered @nycman thank you! message sent @Rod Hagen that's also a really good point regarding face pics, I guess I have a bit of thinking to do to decide what protocol would make me the most comfortable. @Gadfly22 Thank you! I try to be sweet, its nicer than being angry. I'll check him out. @marylander1940 I didn't even think of that IG idea, I always just figured it would be tough to show enough skin without violating their terms. You said "seeking arrangement success" but you meant success with 'seeking arrangement' right? believe it or not a few years back when I first posted on here I burned several weeks on there putting in consistent effort without success. I probably didn't put my best foot forward but the experience made me skeptical of the site in general (seemed to have a lot of duplicated fake profiles back then). and @RyanDean thank you also! I'm guessing this is much more feasible for escorts with large established customer networks, but is it reasonable to try to develop a network of some clients without using the big websites? Personally, I've browsed these forums for a few years considering trying to break in to some part time escorting but the beginning of my interest happened to coincide with some crackdowns on certain sites which made me paranoid (along with the end of craigslist which I actually once found a 'client' on who I would have gladly kept seeing if he was a top) It also seems like the popular sites are mostly geared towards guys who put up face pictures and I wouldn't be able to do that mostly because of my day job. That said I don't think I would mind putting in the work to cultivate a small network and I know I would feel much more comfortable sharing pictures on an individual basis and allowing clients to refer others. Am I going to spin my wheels trying to make this work? I know it will take longer and be harder so the obvious answer is it can be done just more slowly and less likely to bring in much of anything in the first few months. I guess I'm wondering if anyone feels strongly in either direction or maybe has advice for doing it this way. Also, are there any places on these forums that reaching out to a potential client wouldn't be frowned upon? I assumed this was a no-no or any self promotion, but what if for instance someone posted looking for suggestions that I felt fit my description (small, muscular, white with dark features bubble butt bottom in NYC) would it be reasonable to reach out and introduce myself?
