Arriving for an interview at the record company's offices in West London to discuss their new album, singer Neil Tennant (69) is dressed smartly, almost posh, while his colleague and keyboardist Chris Lowe (64) appears in a washed-out hoodie. “He didn't dress up,” says Tennant with a grin about his colleague, who – unlike in photos and at concerts – is not wearing his sunglasses. The Pet Shop Boys are in the best of spirits – and it's no wonder. After around 40 years in the bus… Read More View the full article

  9. I don't know the details, but essentially Boytoy was either bought or in some other way merged into GayGuides. Think of GayGuides as the new home for the content that used to be on Boytoy. So all of the content under the old domain was moved somewhere under the new one. Unfortunately the technical team at that site did not leave good redirects to take users from the old address to the new one. That means older posts/threads that referenced that original boytoy.com domain don't necessarily end up making its way automatically to the new location and can appear as broken. So it's not you doing something wrong. It's technically not even them doing something wrong. It's just that they did not leave good "digital breadcrumbs" to point you to where the content has moved over the years. Think about if you moved from one house to another... if you did not leave a change of address or your change of address expired, you would have a hard time finding someone who moved without manually trying to figure out where the new place is.
  10. Published by Euronews (English) When same-sex marriage was legalised in Greece back in February, LGBTQ+ campaigners celebrated. Now, though, the British Foreign Office has issued new travel advice for queer people travelling to the country. An update, published on the UK government's foreign travel advice page, has warned that same-sex couples could experience discrimination in certain parts of Greece. While it states that “attitudes are generally much more welcoming in Athens and on many Greek islands, particularly on Lesvos, Mykonos and Skiathos,” there are concerns that queer visitors could face prejudice elsewhere. The g… Read More View the full article
  11. Published by The Western Journal At a time when quality wholesome children's entertainment has never been harder to come by, the Australian animated show “Bluey” has stood out from the rest. The show follows a family of anthropomorphic blue heelers as they face various day-to-day adventures together which often teach the family's older daughter Bluey valuable life lessons. For a newly released series, the values of “Bluey” are remarkably traditional. That is until the series introduced its very first LGBT characters in Monday's brand-new episode. https://youtu.be/vDVFk56PTd8?si=BO7m2Y7IgzyQyHHj In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it m… Read More View the full article
  12. Published by Raw Story Democrats believe that a right-wing overreach by Republicans presents them with an opportunity to pick up legislature seats in deep-red Idaho. Dozens of left-leaning candidates are seeking statewide office as part of a recruitment strategy that has put a Democrat on the ballot in every district in the state for the first time in at least 30 years. It follows the GOP supermajority's enactment of a strict abortion ban, limited LGBTQ+ rights and a proposal to jail librarians for circulating books they don't like, reported Politico. “You can't win if you don't run,” said legislative candidate Lore… Read More View the full article
