Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know that I won’t be meeting up with you in Palm Springs this year. Unfortunately, my father is short for this world so I must go to Oregon to be with he and my sister. I was so looking forward to seeing all of you in my city. This year will be all more important with the sad news of Daddy/Guy. Have fun and make a toast for Daddy.

My landlord ordered ¼ lb. of sliced various cold cuts. Yep, you guessed it. They delivered 14 lbs. of each cold cut! Fortunate for me, he shares.

Over the weekend, one news group stated Gavin Newsom, CA Governor, received a letter from more than 150 restaurants stating facts disproving the need to close restaurants amid Covid concerns. Once the decision was announced, I did not hear this claim again.

I use GoodRx “coupons” for drugs that aren’t covered by Medicare Part D. For example, Part D does not cover my sleeping pills. A GoodRx coupon allows me to pay $18 per month at Ralph’s as opposed to $100+. I’ve used it for more than one year with zero issues.

I was told by two doctors that the CDC recommends that individuals that developed Gullain-Barre Syndrome (probably due to a flu vaccine) NOT receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Certain components in the flu vaccine are also in the Covid vaccine. So, I’m out for the new vaccine. Bummer.

There have been many images that show “covered” erections that have been allowed. Just look at most of the bulges stuffed into underwear, speedos, and workout shorts. You think those boys are flaccid?

Neither have I. I can only assume they’ve updated the services somewhat.

About 25 years ago I was waiting for a delayed flight from London to New York in the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Clubhouse. They were known for their “fun” preflight services including meals, drinks, massages, shoe shines and more. The adorable shoe shine boy came over and asked if I’d like my shoes shined. I stated that they were suede and couldn’t be shined. He said he could clean them for me. He was too sweet and cute to dismiss so I gave him my shoes to clean. Later as I was talking to Richard Branson, (The founder and CEO of Virgin Atlantic. He was in the Clubhouse going around to the JFK passengers apologizing for the multiple hour delay.) the shoe shine boy returned with my shoes beaming. He had proudly polished my suede shoes! Since Mr. Branson was still standing there there was nothing I could do but thank him for a great job. That flight cost me a round trip Upper Class ticket and a pair of suede shoes!

I’m on Medicare D, which I hate. For part of the year all of my co-pays are through the roof (donut hole). Recently, my pharmacy changed my Truvada for PrEP prescription to the generic. I expected the co-pay to plummet but it didn’t. It was similar to Truvada.

I heard from an acquaintance recently saying, “Hey, I see that you hired so-and-so the other week.” Obviously, he was reading reviews from RM. I had no idea anyone would put two and two together or do a little research. Not that I care. Just doesn’t seem worth it!

I get a ton of unsolicited calls from my cell phone’s area code. I guess they think I’ll pick up thinking it’s someone near me. Little do they know is this is a very old area code for me and I no longer know anyone from there. When I try to look up the numbers nothing comes up.
