  1. If I see you for extended visits- weekends or longer- for years, then you're a regular. It's not just about the time or money spent, for me it's do we know each other?
  2. LHR T3 has some of the best airline lounges in the world. Cathay F and Qantas are my favorites: Always a stop at both (one for noodles, the other for gin) when flying out of LHR. Were you on a BA flight with the 'new' Club Suite? https://thepointsguy.com/reviews/british-airways-club-suites-777/ I've flown in them twice and as a tall guy, the doors didn't help it feel spacious to me. Not excited about all J-class products now going to these flimsy sliding doors, but clearly I'm in the minority on this. What I did like was BA's flight crew. They were fantastic.
  3. There's a place for that as well. This is something new and different. As for Forbidden Broadway, it's coming back, this time to Broadway. Expect a revolving door of theater stars guesting in the show on a nightly basis. https://forbiddenbroadwayonbroadway.com/
  4. Chicagoan here: Chicago is and always has been in the top 5 (in my lifetime, at least). It's not considered a second-tier city, even though it's been called 'The Second City' (to NYC).
  5. And this, in a nutshell, is what separates the wheat from the chaff in the frequent flier world: People either know enough to be proactive, get themselves protected and sit patiently, or they go fully batshit crazy, letting their anger get the best of them and making all sorts of wacky comments. I'd love to see most of them never do business with QF again. Doubt they could make that happen. You're a trooper Mike 👍 I tip my hat to you knowing full-well that you almost universally have long haul flights if you want to get anywhere. When the shit hits your fan, it's a gigantic dump and a very powerful fan.
  6. It was the very best of what a jukebox musical does. And the '80s pastiche of it all was great. I liked that they didn't 'broadway' up the music too much. They kept Huey's songs pretty straight forward and the vocal arrangements didn't come across as jazzhands and cheese.
  7. Bagel from Utopia (Queens, NY). Fresh lox or nova. Toast bagel. Add schmear. Add salmon. Add capers. Add fresh red onion. Donezo. This is about as complicated as my cooking skill gets. However, I make a fantastic reservation.
  8. They didn't. I did. But for the record, I still think what you're suggesting is a little bitch move. You're trying to wiggle out of what you were originally asking. You didn't just ask about clockwatching. Stop the bullshit.
  9. But that wasn't the intent of the original question. He was clearly asking how he'd be able to get a service for free when he knows he's supposed to be paying for it. And I quote: 'Not watch the clock' and 'stay past (agreed) time without charging.' Pretty straightforward to me. It's like people who want to sit in first class but aren't willing to pay for it.
  10. Just remember... You go to the bathhouse to fuck. You don't stay there to sleep. The Hacienda at Warm Sands is always a quiet, well-run and comfortable place to go back to.
  11. Agree. If you're entertained by shit jokes and animals fucking, this is the movie for you. The makeup was incredible, however.
  12. Saw it in London. Just saw it in NYC. It's still loud, brash and gimmicky. I agree completely with the NYT's take on it. It just didn't work for me. Felt like a shoehorned mess. For the price, I expected better direction and voices. Bebe Neuwirth was the single actor in the show giving a realized performance.
  13. I'm seeing this tomorrow night. Big Huey Lewis/News fan here. The buzz on this show is great. I didn't expect it, but happy to hear.
  14. For anyone reading this who's not the op, get the HPV vax. Avoid these issues. OP: A ton of info about HPV is available online. Read up on this yourself. It's not difficult. Take responsibility for your health and protect others when you're dealing with an outbreak.
  15. 'Hey escorts, what makes you work for free' I'm sure the replies will be incredibly meaningful, insightful and inspirational.
  16. How have we not started a master thread yet?
  17. Can confirm. I have to send automated emails to remind myself to check RM a couple of times a week. It's why I have an auto-reply with clear instructions to email me privately for a response.
  18. It's not stomach related. You won't vomit. It's the feeling of being tired. And frankly, wouldn't you rather just deal with the mentality of it for a few days, let it pass and then know you're safely vaxxed against HPV? Discomfort is a part of life. It's worth it when the reward makes sense.
  19. Someone at Darden is quietly laughing right now. They sold RL off at the top of it's worth. In hindsight, a very, very smart move.
  20. None of this surprises me. There's no such thing as a free lunch. As a traveler, it's your responsibility to always be prepared, including travel insurance with evac protection. I travel a ton and to leave my safety in the hands of my embassy would be fucking foolish. I always have a backup plan and failsafe, especially when I'm in a country that's in turmoil or heading that way.
  21. What you want isn't readily a 'thing' in most of N America. Not the States, not really Canada. MX is more about saunas/baths, not brothels. What you really want is something you might not have the time to travel to. Asia, Brazil, Spain. And for the record, Zipolite is not really what you're looking for. The closest thing in MX might be Puerto Vallarta or Mexico CIty. Even then, you're really not going to find a Pointe/Bluboy experience
