A census worker rang my doorbell today. He wanted to know about my next door neighbor. I've only lived here a year, and I couldn't help him. They're home much of the time, but not when he comes by.

How come it's always the same time as Coachella?

The US Constitution requires that the government enumerates the population with a census every ten years.

Coincidentally, I filled out the census form online last night.

I'm watching tonight. The dogs must have season tickets - they're still in the front row. I didn't see any opening day games. Usually the stadium is decorated with bunting for Opening Day. Did any teams have bunting?

I had an operation about 20 years ago. My doctor cut an artery instead of a vein. I woke up in an MRI machine missing five units of blood. I missed over four months of work, and now have a large scar on my abdomen. During that time I traveled to a meeting and struggled just to walk from my hotel room to the front desk. While I was there, I received an emergency (that’s what they called it) call from the doctor’s office. The emergency was that I hadn’t paid the bill. I guess one can’t apologize for fear of a suit. I haven’t seen him since.

The Water Gardens was such a nice place.
