Totally agree. When someone is willing to put themselves out there, to claim credentials that allow him to speak authoritatively on a subject, to enter into a controversy they MUST expect people will react and respond, either positively or negatively. I would say that people's reactions (with the possible exception of yours truly) here have actually shown remarkable restraint considering the provocations thrown at them!

There are very few forum members that share my political stance, yet I have perhaps only 5 or 6 people on ignore here... generally because I find them to be silly or tedious.
