  1. The old, old forum software of about 5+ years ago would allow that. You could select one or more forums, Set date parameters and member. For example you could search for posts by “member XY” in forum(s) “Lounge” and “Deli” between the dates of “January 1, 2009 to January 31st 2019”. I don’t remember what the forum software was at that time. Sadly this capability was lost about 3 software updates ago.
  2. “Wood Flooring” covers a wide gamut of products and quality. Everything from individual boards to some very thin cheap veneers (not all veneers are bad). If you live in a high humidity or extreme desert climate your options may be constrained. Both of those climate types can lead to warping and/or lamination failure. I would suggest starting out with a visit to your local hardware stores and getting advice on what works in your particular climate. Depending on the size of your city there may be companies that specialize in wood floor installation that may another good info source. They will want to know if the 1st floor is on a concrete slab or above a crawlspace/basement. They will also likely have a rack near the checkout counters full of various magazines and guides that are a good research start point. And check with your neighbors to see if they have any advice.
  3. The author used to be a forum member years back. It’s now somewhat dated, and it was never completed by the author. However, this link is still active and has some good basics. Suggest copy and paste the document - it might just disappear at some point. Click on each “Part” to see that chapter. Part 10 was the last one. http://www.devonhunter.info/archives/2685/
  4. Your iPhone 11 is “dual SIM” capable. Most likely you have your current ATT on the replaceable “nano-SIM” in the pop out tray. I would suggest you go to your local ATT provider and ask them to move the ATT account to the built in electronic “eSIM”. That is easy for them to do. That now opens up the built in “nano-SIM” tray for use with a physical nano-SIM (the very tiny one) to be installed from wherever during your travels.
  5. Just in case…. The iPhone 13 is Dual SIM capable. One has to be an eSIM. Not all carriers support eSIM’s. So you could have ATT on the eSIM and leave the physical SIM slot open for the local Asian SIM card (which has to be a “nano-SIM”). Hope your trip goes well.
  6. I read that. Covid 19 was first identified in late 2019.
  7. May not apply to your situation but there have been many reports of very vivid dreams being reported following COVID-19 infection. Go to your search engine and type in: Covid dreams
  8. If a poster tries to resurrect a post that’s been inactive for 2 years maybe the “the system” could automatically intercede and warn: “The thread you are responding to is over two years old. As such your post will not “go live” until it has been reviewed by a moderator to ensure it remains useful to the discussion.” I suspect most posters would chose not to reopen the thread. But if they decided to move forward the post would then automatically go to the moderator review queue for blessing.
  9. From a favorite Cirque du Soleil show Mystere. Kalimando My understanding is the vocals are actually a “made up language” by Cirque du Soleil And there is just something satisfyingly primal to the male psyche regarding the universal language of percussion. O-Daiko
  10. And something from a different culture. Interesting accompaniment choice and video. yane-heja-hee - sacred spirit Don’t know who the actual vocalist is. Certainly don’t understand the words - but it kinda grows on you. Edit: The song is from Sacred Spirit II which was a 2001 Grammy New Age nominee. The vocals are Native (North) American. Maybe Navajo? The dancers, based on skin tone, body decoration, costumes and video setting I would guess are Southwest Pacific.
  11. >>@BSR Quote: Thanks for the post. Even though I don't understand a single word, I really like this song! Glad you liked it. The following (Fada) is probably their second most popular song. Victor is the guitarist and primary song writer. Leo is the primary vocalist. I don’t understand the words either but you can tell from the audience they are quite popular.
  12. Attempt to copy the link directly. Sorry if it doesn't work.
  13. Victor & Leo Brazilian brothers duo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_%26_Leo Borboletas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DURGfr1oh30
  14. Medicaid is a Federal program that is run by the individual State. Medicaid rules are complicated and there are some differences among States. However, the Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) of 2005 created a five year “look back period”. Basically it says the State can look back at any asset transfer within the past 5 years and penalize accordingly. See this link for additional info. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicaid
  15. Although not universally adopted here is a link to 70+ massage modularity descriptions. Maybe send the link to your prospective provider and ask them to confirm their areas of expertise. If nothing else it may help separate the actual trained masseur from the “body rub” provider. https://www.massageexchange.com/tips/modalities.asp
  16. Agree with most of the comments already posted. Except: I see a need to separate out licensed masseurs. For them nothing on this site should jeopardize their license. No mention of “erotic”, “mutual touch”, “kissing” or any similar innuendo.
  17. I suggest at the very, very bottom have a listing called “The Outhouse” (or "The Septic Tank"). A place for the moderators to banish locked threads that get out of control.
  18. No computer expert here but 1st thing to always try is a total shut down. Maybe even go so far as unplug. Count to 30. Reboot.
  19. In addition to what @Bucky posted - Certainly not an iPhone expert but: (and it depends on the iOS version you are running) You can go to Apple Apps Store and download a free User Manual for your iPhone iOS version. Go into your contacts list and assign different “ringtones” (call) and “alerts” (texts) for your different contacts. Use one series for Family. Another for Close Friends. Another for Business. Etc. That way you will have a good idea of the importance of the call just by the ringtone. With iOS11 and later you have the option, if the caller is not in your contact list, to have the call go immediately to voicemail without ringing the phone. Probably a good idea to record a voicemail greeting that warns callers they need to leave a message if they expect you to get back to them. You can easily block numbers. Got to “Recents”. Push the little “i” button. Scroll down and tap “Block Number”.
  20. I recall something by Guy where he complained about “bots” trying to access the system. Seems like there used to be a “statistics” box that showed the numbers. Maybe you are interacting with AI (Artificial intelligence). Yes - that AI comment might be interpreted in more than one way.
  21. I am saddened. I am one who also never met him but he, and his sites, have played a significant role in the later years of my life journey. I hope there is way for his life’s work to continue. It will hurt even more if all the vast information put together in the 10’s of thousands of conversation threads in this forum are lost.
  22. You might find this link helpful: https://www.massageexchange.com/tips/modalities.asp
  23. I’ve previously grumped about this and it appears it’s a software limitation at the developer level. You can, sorta, search by conversation and/or by poster. Click on the “search” tab in the upper right corner. Click on “Advanced search” to expand the search window. I suggest clicking on “Search threads” vice “Search everything” You can type in the name of a poster and you will get back a list of everything they have posted. If you also type in a keyword(s) the search will limit the results to those matches. Keywords must be more than 3 characters. The Newer than box has variable results and I haven’t found it very helpful. Old software would allow selection of a “time window” that was quite helpful. Old software would also allow you to limit search to just a particular sub-forum. Experiment with your own postings so you see what kind of results you get back.
  24. Maybe an alternative: I got an Amazfit Bip a couple of years back that fulfills my needs. I was particularly attracted to the long battery life and reasonable price. I typically get around 3 weeks between charges but don’t have all functions activated. It tells time and counts my steps. There’s an App you install on your phone. In the “Activity Mode” it gives much more detail for walking/running and cycling. It interfaces with the iPhone iOS for live GPS Maps (useful when cycling) and the iOS Health app which, among other things, gives fairly detailed sleep info. Mine has now been replaced with a newer version (Amazfit Bip U) that doesn’t appear to have as long a battery life but now tracks O2 levels.
