As usual, a joy to spend much of my PS time with Danny.  I just wish I was there for a longer time.

Since my wife's passing in 2000, I have had 16 dogs and 13 have passed on.  Each passing was difficult but it only confirmed the wonderful relationship I had with the animal and I would not exchange that experience out of fear of sadness of their passing.  I can find myself smiling many years later thinking or recalling what one of them did.  Recalling how Bonehead got his name, or Holly humped my leg while my life and I tried to have some passionate time together.  Deciding not to have a pet is a personal decision but I continue to adopt not because I am not afraid of the inevitable passing ( at this point it is 50 50 as to who is going first) but rather for all the joy that is added to my life.  Without my dogs over these last 23 years, I do not know if I could have gotten through many of the personal difficulties and traumatic situations.  They have added so much and I would have missed all that if I allowed fear of loss to be the prime mover in my relationship with pertanimals.  Dogs can also be great due magnets in parks and elsewhere.
So, if anyone out there is not adopting out of fear of loss, consider all there is to gain.  On the other had, if you are not willing to give your whole heart and sacrifice some of your own creature comforts (just this week I lost two comforters and a two pair of socks and the rest of a well chewed slipper)  then by all means, support the animals that you come across in your life from afar.

I had a job interview to be the director of a nursing facility.  That day, I had an early morning veterinarian appointment for my three dogs.  The vet ran late and the visit took longer than expected so I called the facility to see about pushing the appointment back or changing it to another day.  They said that if I could get there on time with the dogs, that they would let the dogs come into the interview.
I sat at a long conference table and all three dogs laid down around my chair under the table.  The interview went on and they were perfect gentle dogs.  As I went to leave, each of the dogs sought out residents, who greeted them as though they were long lost friends.  The dogs loved the attention, and I spent quite a bit of time having the dogs visit.  They were not certified therapy dogs so I could not make this a regular practice, but the dogs took to the residents immediately and the residents took to the dogs lovingly.
BTW, I did not get the job.   But subsequently, I was the director of a PACE facility for elderly and physically challenged adults.  I would bring my yellow lab Bonehead into the office on occasion, and he took to the role of canine ambassador immediately.
Dogs, children and the elderly,  a triad of love for the most part.

I have good news and bad news for you.  Vin is in terrific shape and if anything he looks better than in those photos.  He is coming to Palm Springs at my request during the Palm Springs weekend.  He has sent me regular updates and he is in amazing shape for a man of any age from 21 to 61.  I can assure you that you would not be disappointed in his conditioning.  The bad news is that, if you want to see him, you need to consider coming to the Palm Springs get together because he just told me he does not have an LA availability.   Besides the great muscular vascular body, he is a gentleman of the highest caliber and a delightful person with whom to spend time over dinner or at a pool party or just hanging around the pool on a sunny afternoon.

Finally back on the East Coast and now the decision to be made is whether or not to put a bid in on one of the two houses that I saw and liked.  I will need to make a quick decision and I am 50 50 on it right now.   Thanks to Oliver and David and the whole Palm Springs crew for all their work and hospitality.

I though the same thing, that at that height and weight, he would have a much more massive chest and legs.  Nice body but for me, should be beefier with those stats.

Another amazing year! Unfortunately, I am still recovering from a touch of sun poisoning on Sunday so I missed the breakfast yesterday, and had to call out of work today but overall, it was definitely worth it. 😈A huge thank you to @David-SF who always kicks the weekend off in style and to @Oliver for making sure it ends with a bang. Also a special thank you to @purplekow and Vin for allowing @Robster and I to invade their space while we were 'visiting' Inndulge.

This surgery while essentially cosmetic has economic gains attached to it.  Taller people are viewed as more deserving of promotions especially in some Asian cultures.  It seems ridiculous to undergo painful surgery to add a few inches to one's height, but there are many people who will try to advance their career in any way they can.

From my point of view they did not have him shirtless nearly enough when he was on This Is Us and while they are a bit better on this show, I think he needs to be tracking people down to nudist colonies and poolside resorts like White Lotus or even better Indulge this next week.

I do prefer to see the escort in his underwear and then to slowly reveal the goods.  I particularly like bright colored solid or striped bikini but but I like just about all kinds.  It is the mystery, like the dance of the seven veils, with the unwrapping comes more and more desire.
Of the photos here, another hard body's collection on the first page are my favorites.  Great body. Tight underwear and a promise of a nice package within.

Having been in medical education for 40 years, yikes I am old, the cuts in the time spent in basic medical education alone are startling and the quality of graduates we are seeing now compared to even 10 years ago has dropped precipitously.  Medicine has become lots of algorithems and unnecessary testing. The art has been sucked out of it.
Shortening the university education would only add to the lack of general knowledge and interactive skills of out future care providers.  Most physicians who take the traditional path have completed medical school at 26, those taking the 6 year course are 24.  Fairly good data shows brain development, especially in males, decision making and maturity, is not complete until at least 25.  The problem is not the length of training, the problem is the cost of training.  Albert Einstein School of Medicine recently received a billion dollar endowment and all tuition is free.  Without the burden of that debt, graduates can face their future without the cloud of untenable debt for years to come.  Two years more of training to allow maturity and a full broad based educated and well trained professional is, for me, preferable to a student who has rushed though medical school, with no other diversity in their education.  Give me a debt free individual who can speak with clarity and concern perhaps in more than one language and who understands medical ethics as well as other classic principles.  This is  who I want taking care of me.

I read through this thread and little was said about actually getting an education and lots was said about getting a job.  This pivoting of the university experience has been its downfall.  Yes there needs to be directed education toward certain careers but a broad based education which helps you develop lifetime interests and  inquisitiveness needs to part and parcel of a college education.  College should be for developing the person as well as the professional.

Sure if you are horny and you have 250 dollars but not three hundred.  I recently bought a new car after a deer totaled my last vehicle.  I saw what I liked and talked with them and eventually it was too much money for me.  I found something I liked a little less but the savings was considerable.  If I were looking for an escort AND the monetary difference was of importance to me, I might ask the one that I prefer if we can strike a deal.  If he says no, then he says no.  It is not that his services are not worth what he is asking, it is that he may consider my offer for a wide variety of reasons of his own.  As I stated, I usually do not haggle with the car salesmen nor the escort, I am not comfortable with the process.  But if I was very horny and on a tight budget, I might feel differently.  I would not haggle just to get a better deal when the money is inconsequential.
When I had patients come into my office, I. at times,  would modify my off charge for a variety of personal reasons and if someone made it clear that the price was too steep for them, I would not consider it an insult, just a financial fact of life.  As a professional, I would never allow money to affect performance and I would expect the same of an escort who has agreed to a more affordable price.  Next time, if my finances are better, I may pay without question, the full price plus a nice tip for his previous consideration.    I just think that there is more than one kind of business sense and not giving a full effort is not one in which I would chose to engage.
